Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.

Well, for example, the other day my wife and I went into town and went into a shop.
We were only in there for about 5 minutes.
When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
We went up to him and said, 'Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?'
He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him a Nazi turd.
He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires.
So my wife called him a shithead.
He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first.
Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes.
The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, we didn't care.
We came into town by bus.
We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired.
It's important at our age

Yeah I keep telling myself age is just a state of mind then I look in the mirror at the gray hair and the twisted body I'm carring around since one even older than I desided to hit me and my scoot and I feel 110. LOL But I know in a few months or so I'll be feeling 16 again like I just got my license. But right now just not feeling it.

That was good thinking.I take it the 401K is some kind of bank? You can get busy doing other things when you retire.Like getting up at 5am to go for paper and coffee, you could make a day of it and catch the bus!LOL

We're allowed to have fun??! Geez, One must keep the nose to the grindstone all through life, then, when you're allowed some fun, nothing works anymore.... (well, maybe when I'm old in 30 yrs.)

When I lived in Florida I used to say they got up at 5am and drove 25mph in a 55mph to go get their paper and coffee and donut....LOL As I approach those so called golden years I fear retirement. Thank Goodness I took my money out of that 401K and placed it in a safe place longtime ago before things started to go wacky, so some day I will be able to retire for good wheather I willl want to or not is another question.
